After the first pair sucked and broke the company sent me a new pair free if I wrote a good review, even the second pair were awful. One side is loud and the other side is deaf. Such bad quality, how are these even above 1 star, they break after a month.

I ordered these in December for my husband to use during an upcoming trip to Europe on the airplane. When we left on the trip in March, the unit came apart and was unusable for the 8 hour trip! This was the first use since purchase. The plastic near the actual earpiece separated and the earpiece just flopped around and could not be used. I bought tape once we arrived and taped the earpiece together for use on the return trip. I find this very unacceptable. I bought less expensive headphones for my self from another company and they work great. I cannot recommend .Update: April 13, 2017—seller was quick to send a replacement for the defective headphones. I was surprised and pleased since it had been months since purchase. I don’t know if the new ones will hold up, but I appreciate the sellers commitment to service so am upgrading to 4 stars based on that.

The best Bluetooth earphones I ever had. Let’s start with the most important thing – the sound quality is unbelievable! The volume level is very high and connectivity with the phone is super easy. I only tested it with my Samsung Galaxy phone, but I’m sure it works well with any Bluetooth device. The earphones came already charged and ready to go, but I always prefer to charge it myself for a full cycle. The other great thing, which is very iconic for this type of earphones is the ability to control your volume (up and down) and song skipping (forward and backwards) with a simple finger swipe up and down or left and right along the side of the right side, so you don’t need to touch your phone for these tasks. The volume control is great – you wouldn’t silence the device within one finger swipe, but with few moderated swipes. There is an on-off button, to help you save battery when not in use. It comes with a USB charging cable and an 1/8 inch male-to-male cable, which allows you to connect to audio devices without Bluetooth. The ear (puffs?) is very cushiony and the overall look is very sleek and professional. It is highly recommended.

My first impression? These things are huge! I’ve got dinner plates on my ears! Princess Leia ear muffs!! HUGE! The Good Stuff? I really like the no-button controls. You swipe up or down for volume, you swipe forward or back for ff/rew, and tap for pause/play and that’s it. That and a simple on off switch on the bottom. All on the right side ear. They have a really long battery life. I didn’t clock it, but it was close to twelve hours. The reception isn’t quite as excellent as with my Beats but still miles above the typical cheapies. Bad stuff? Not only are the actual earphone parts really big, but the headband is too big too. I have a small hat size and these slip. Final word? They’re actually quite good for the money. If you have a large hat size, they might be just what you’ve been looking for!

These headphones are amazing! I like how they are over the ear- when you are using headphones for a long period of time, anything else gets uncomfortable pretty quick, at least to me it does. I like that these came with a velvet pouch, it would have been even better with a hard case, but at least it came with something. The buttons on the side make it easy to perform different functions- that’s another thing that I liked, some headphones make it way too complicated to change songs, answer phone calls/etc. These have an impressive sound, I am very pleased overall with these headphones.

Average to below average pair of headphones, in terms of usability and sound function

I honestly LOVED these. I used them at work, so my phone was only a foot or so away from me. I cannot attest to range of the bluetooth.
The reason these don’t get a 5 star is that they cracked and broke… Which might have been expected with rough use, but they seriously NEVER left the office. I’d hang them on my monitor at the end of the day, so it’s not like I threw them in a drawer.
I bought them for Christmas, so they made it 7 month. They broke in a way that cannot be repaired, and I am beyond disappointed. Off to find another mid-price-point over-ear headphone that I can skip and pause music without grabbing my phone.

downgraded to 1 star, wish I could say 0 stars if I could. The right ear stopped working after only about 2 months of use, even though I was always careful with storing it away, never jostled it too hard, etc.

They work well, good battery life, reasonable build quality. I got these for my 4 year old to get rid of the wires. We like to be able to throw on some headphones on the kids when they’re watching something on a tablet or whatever and bluetooth makes that a much better experience for all of us. No tangled mess of wires. No wires wrapped up in hair. No tripping and pulling out plugs. These isolate pretty well too. The bluetooth doesn’t cut out, seems to hold connection well. The build quality is decent (it’s all plastic) for the price, not going to survive kids, but last long enough to do the job which is reasonable for the price. I really like the external volume control swipe gestures. As a parent you can TURN DOWN THE VOLUME without touching their tablet/phone (mine! mine! No! NO!) nor pressing a button on their headphone to turn down volume (NO! NO!). Instead, you just swipe down over the surface, and volume goes down. They don’t even know you’ve done it. STEALTH VOLUME CONTROL.

These headphones are great – I haven’t seen anything like these and I own a lot of tech. The touch controls are really unique and it isn’t just a gimmick. The touch responses work really great and there is hardly any lag. The material it is made of isn’t the most expensive but they fit great on my head, even with glasses. It’s nice being able to use touch controls instead of trying to find some buttons on the side. This really simplifies the operation of these headphones. Please see the video for more details.

These are really good headphones that reliably connect to my TROND Bluetooth V4.1 Transmitter Receiver Adapter (Bluetooth 4.1). I bought the headphones and the TROND interface to allow me to listen to my kitchen TV without disturbing other people in the house. They replaced an older pair of Sony Bluetooth 2.1 headphones and Sony HWS-BTA2W Bluetooth 2.1 adapter. Bluetooth 4.1 connects much more quickly and much more reliably than the older standards and gives me much more range. The headphones themselves sound great, and I really like the touch control on the side. The only downsides of the headphones are that they don’t remember the volume setting when you power them off and they don’t have a mute function. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time and I can go days without charging them with casual use of a few hours a day.UPDATE on 6/13/17: I am using these for almost two months now on a daily basis when I watch TV in the kitchen and don’t want to disturb my family. They are paired with a Trond Bluetooth TROND TV Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver Optical, 3.5mm Wireless Audio Adapter (Latest V4.1, AptX Low Latency for both TX and RX, Pair with 2 Devices Simultaneously), for TV / Home Stereo System transmitter that is fed from a J-Tech 4-port HDMI switch J-Tech Digital HDMI 1.4 Switch Switcher Box Selector 3 In 1 Out Audio Extractor w/ Optical SPDIF & RCA L/R Audio Out & IR Control Supports ARC, MHL, 4K, Full 3D, 4kx2k, 1080P (Support Apple TV 4Gen) that lets me select with my cable box or my AppleTV. These headphones connect very quickly, have great audio quality and hold a charge for a very long time. I am very happy with them and the Trond and J-Tech devices.UPDATE on 8/27/17: I bought four more pairs of these to use in the Living Room when we want to watch TV at night but not wake up the rest of the house. I have two Trond Bluetooth transmitters (see above paragraph) being the TV with each Trond paired with two of the Zealot B21 headphones. In order to get proper stereo audio from the optical port of my TV, I use a Dolby Digital 5.1/DTS decoder that outputs analog stereo audio which I feed to the two Trond BT transmitters.
